What is FarmHand?
FarmHand is an AI agent that runs a dairy's day. You describe a problem in plain language, spoken or typed, and it writes the work orders and hands each one to the right person on shift. It also raises work on its own: weather coming, supplies running low, follow-ups due. Managers get a live board of the whole operation; hands see only their own work.
Do I have to switch systems?
No, it works right alongside them. Your herd records and robot systems, like DairyComp and Lely, stay exactly where they are; FarmHand runs the to-do list on top. We're building it to read from them directly so routine work puts itself on the list. Keep what works.
Does it work without internet in the barn?
Yes. Everything you do is saved on the device and syncs when a connection returns. We designed it for barns with bad Wi-Fi from the start.
What hardware does it need?
Any phone or tablet. It runs in any browser and is built for a shared kiosk tablet on the barn wall, with big type, big touch targets, and a screen you can read in glare. Native iPhone and Android apps are rolling out with our farms now.
How does the AI part actually work?
The agent (built on Anthropic's Claude) reads what you said and turns it into tasks. Who gets each task isn't a guess. FarmHand hands it to whoever's on shift, trained for it, and free, and when no one fits, it asks a manager instead of deciding on its own.
Do I need to change how my crew works?
No. FarmHand fits the way a barn already runs a day. Hands still get told what to do; now it's on a screen they can check, in their language, instead of a whiteboard or a group text. Nothing gets logged that a person or a rule didn't put there.
What languages does it speak?
English and Spanish today, for both the interface and plain-language capture.
What does it cost?

Is it built for a farm like mine?
